Artisans + Suppliers
The Provisions Co. Collection is the result of local, Ohio-based creative collaboration. I'm happy to share these artisans and suppliers with you.
Annette Cargill
I am an abstract expressionist painter. I am always looking for patterns and connections, causes and effects, and structures in chaos and imperfections. I am a seeker of truth in all things around me. Expressing myself with abstract art is a continuation of my seeking. I like the conscious and subconscious aspects of painting. I like the endless possibilities. My Painting is a microcosm of LIFE; an opening and unfolding of choices: mistakes and successes. And then, there are the mistakes that are successes. Painting is a meditative, personal experience of exploration which informs me daily.
“We all know that Art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize truth, at least the truth that is given us to understand.” - Pablo Picasso
Annette's collection of abstract paintings for the Provisions Co. line were brought to life in her Troy, Ohio studio. | website

All store locations offer hand-poured candles in over 120 fragrances, ranging from spicy to masculine, floral and beyond. The company uses natural soy wax, pure fragrance oils, and cotton paper wicks for a candle that is long-lasting, clean burning, and true to scent. Provisions Co.
Jess Nielsen, Lead Curator of Provisions Co. and Owner of The Olivine Design Studio, has been fascinated by heritage and design since a very young age. From a small agricultural town of 865 people, Jess was raised to value deep family roots, resilient faith and strong work ethic.
After earning a degree in Commercial Interior Design from the Columbus College of Art & Design, she worked for various architectural design firms around the United States, designing commercial spaces and the products and graphics within them. In 2015, Jess founded The Olivine Design Studio, an Ohio-based studio focused on elevating design on a local level.
